1. WHO WE ARE
The Manko Aba Legacy Project is a community-driven initiative led by the Chief and Queen Mother of Akuapem Gyaseman and Amanokrom Akuapem, in collaboration with other members of the traditional leadership, the Amanokrom Junior High School Management, and youth representatives. We are united by a shared passion: to improve the development and future of children and youth in Amanokrom and across the Akuapem Ridge..
2. WHAT WE DO
We work towards the protection and development of children and the youth through improved teaching and learning environment, positive socialization and sound moral exposure. This, we do through periodic and annual school and community engagement programmes involving teachers, pupils and parents. The team engages in collective resource mobilization to support projects and specific needs of individual vulnerable children and families. .
Our dream is to provide opportunities to children and young people in Amanokrom to support their wholistic development,bearing in mind the fact that the future of Amanokrom hangs on their quality development.i
Our current on-going project is a two-storey multi-purpose structure that houses a school canteen, kitchen and pantry on the ground floor and a 300-seater capacity hall and an ICT/Robotics laboratory for effective technology-based learning and communication.
