Over the years, many kind-hearted philanthropists, institutions, and community members have stepped in to support Amanokrom School. The classrooms have been painted, blocks renovated by the Devimohimanni Group, the library given a facelift by Obroni Zim, and computers supplied by the Dream Family, with additional help from the PTA and assembly members. These efforts have truly made a difference in creating a better learning environment.
Yet, despite all these contributions, something critical is missing.
As the saying goes, “We are what we eat” — but in Amanokrom, students do not have a proper place to eat. Each day, they are forced to stand in the open sun, squat by the walls, or even sit on the bare floor to take their meals. Others sneak food into classrooms, leaving stains, litter, and hygiene challenges behind.

Even more concerning, there is no proper kitchen where their meals are prepared. Without a decent, hygienic cooking facility, both the quality of food and the health of the students are at risk.
This is not just about food. It is about dignity, safety, and the well-being of children who deserve so much better.
The Manko Aba Legacy Project is determined to change this story. By building a modern dining hall and a standard kitchen, we will ensure that students enjoy their meals in a safe, clean, and dignified environment.

Together, we can transform the daily experiences of these children — because every child deserves more than just food, they deserve a meal with dignity.
